Description
Gabrielle Duplantier is a Franco-American photographer whose work unfolds through long-term, deeply personal projects. Rooted in familiar territories and shaped by repeated encounters with the same places, her photography moves between landscapes and portraits, revealing an intimate and often enigmatic vision of the world.
Working primarily in black and white, she has developed a distinctive visual language influenced by painting and experimentation, where twilight atmospheres, fragile figures, and strange landscapes coexist. From the Basque Country to Portugal and India, her images privilege subjectivity over documentation, seeking less to fix reality than to question it.
Published in several acclaimed photobooks and presented in festivals and exhibitions internationally, Gabrielle Duplantier will share insights into her photographic journey, creative process, and the construction of long-term bodies of work.
