Purpose and Scope of Personal Data Collection: In its activities, Street Photography Luxembourg asbl collects and processes personal data. The primary purpose of this collection is to organize our festival, deliver tickets to users via email, or, as circumstances dictate, via postal mail. Furthermore, this information is used for disseminating informational communications, reminders, and for sending our newsletter.

Legal Basis for Data Processing: The processing of personal data by our organization is based on the legal foundation of explicit consent from the concerned users.

Disclosure of Data to Third Parties: Certain personal data may be shared with third parties strictly for the purpose of executing financial transactions made through our online commerce platform.

Data Transfer Outside the European Union: Street Photography Luxembourg asbl does not intentionally transfer personal data outside the European Union. However, we note a lack of specific knowledge regarding the data transfer practices of third-party service providers such as PayPal.

Duration of Data Retention: Personal data collected is retained for a necessary and proportionate duration, that is, until the user explicitly requests the removal of their data from our database or unsubscribes from our newsletter.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
