Due to ongoing renovations, the festival’s exhibitions were exclusively outdoors, located around the Gare neighborhood, with all exhibited material revolving around this vibrant district, featuring the Mai Quartier project, works from students of Lycée Aline Mayrisch and Arts et Métiers, and a curated selection from the Photothèque’s vast archive.

The 2024 Light Leaks Festival featured a one-day Masterclass by Michael Ackerman and introduced the Bazaar, a space where artists could sell and promote their work, adding a new interactive dimension to the event.

The Luxembourg Street Photography Festival was rebranded as the Light Leaks Festival, reflecting a shift in focus to storytelling through street photography, photojournalism, and documentary photography. A new open-air exhibition and specialized workshops on film photography enriched the event​.
