The Light Leaks Festival is an annual celebration of documentary and street photography, showcasing the unique perspectives of renowned photographers and providing a platform for both professional and amateur photographers to engage with the art form.
It is a celebration of everyday life and urban testimonies through the eyes of photographers, with a focus on storytelling in street photography, photojournalism and documentary photography.
The festival was previously known as the Luxembourg Street Photography Festival, but was rebranded in 2023 to reflect its new focus.
The festival will take place from May 5th to May 12th, 2024, at the Rotondes cultural center in Luxembourg, situated at 3 Place des Rotondes, L-2448 Luxembourg. The venue is conveniently located near a train station, providing easy access for attendees. Additionally, there are several public parking spaces available in close proximity to the Rotondes cultural center, offering convenient parking options for those arriving by car.

The festival is organized by the Luxembourg Streetphoto Collective, a group founded in December 2011 to promote the art of Street Photography in Luxembourg and provide a platform for photographers to share their passion. We strive to make our festival inclusive and accessible to all age groups. The varied fees are made possible through support from Rotondes: explorations culturelles, Oeuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, Ville de Luxembourg, and the Ministère de la Culture.
Young participants enjoy reduced entrance and participation fees, fostering an environment that encourages exploration and learning in the field of street photography. This initiative aims to eliminate financial barriers, allowing young individuals to actively engage in our diverse range of programs.
